Palisade
Poached Pears Nancy Harrison
Serves 4-5 ppl

Ingredients
3-4 firm, ripe
pears, peeled, cored and sliced
¼ c Vermouth
3-4 Macaroons,
finely crushed
2 T Butter, cut in
small pieces
Directions
1. Arrange pear slices in circles in a tart pa
2. Pour Vermouth over pears, cover with foil
and place in a 350 degree oven
3. Bake 30-45 minutes, remove from oven and
uncover
4. Spread cookie crumbs over fruit; dot with
butter; return to oven for 10-15 minutes or until cookie crumbs start to brown
