Pumpkin
Cookies Aunt
Betty
1 c pumpkin
1 tsp cinnamon
1 ¾ c flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking
powder
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
Dates, raisins or
nuts
Sift dry
ingredients; cream sugar and shortening, add pumpkin and mix well. Add vanilla,
then dry ingredients; then fruit and/or nuts. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
Drip by spoonfuls on to greased cookie sheet. Bake at 10-12 minutes at 350*
