Sour Cream Bavarian Nancy

Ingredients:
1 pkg unflavored
gelatin
2/3 c sugar
¾ c boiling water
1 c sour cream
2 c cool whip
Instructions:
Mix gelatin with
hot water until dissolved; blend in other ingredients except cool whip and
chill until slightly thickened. Blend in cool whip and pour into mold to chill.
Fruit Sauce:
1 Pkg frozen
raspberries, thawed. Measure syrup and add enough water to make3/4 c total.
Blend in 1 TB sugar and 1TB cornstarch. Cook and stir over medium heat until
thickened and glossy. Add raspberries and chill.
Serve slices of
Bavarian with raspberry sauce poured over.
This makes
an elegant holiday dessert and was a family favorite of ours when my kids were
little.
