Sour Cream Chocolate Cake Aunt Betty
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1 ¼ c all-purpose
flour
1/3 c cocoa
1/8 tsp salt
Instructions:
Beat sugar, eggs
sour cream and vanilla. Add 1 tsp soda dissolved in ¼ cup hot water, cooled.
Add blended dry ingredients, beat well and pour into a greased and floured 8 X 8”
pan. Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes. The sourer the cream is the better the
cake
